- Concentrate on the meaning of the words of berachos. (ShA)
- Don’t throw the beracha from your mouth, rather say it gently with devotion. (MB1)
- When mentioning the Holy Name, concentrate on Adnus – the Master of everything. If spelled י-ה-ו-ה you must also concentrate on the lettering – He was, He is, and He will be – at least for krias Shema. (ShA, MB3)
- Never pronounce י-ה-ו-ה the way it is spelled. Be careful with the correct pronunciation: אֲ-דֹ-נָ-י and accent the last syllable. (MB2)
- When mentioning (any form of) Elokim – concentrate that He is Strong, Master of all Abilities, and Master of All Forces. (ShA)
